Shock Horror
Workshops 14+
Unravel the secrets and mystery behind horror theatre with Thunder Road, the creators of the “inescapable” ghost story Shock Horror.
This workshop:
Uncovers the devices and techniques used to create suspense and tension within horror storytelling
Integrates puppetry into the mix with an intensive session manipulating human-sized objects
Promotes the physical confidence your students need to be brave and bold with the material they are making
Enables students to put all they’ve learned into practice to produce their very own short ensemble horror story
Offers your students further insight into how to shape horror and puppetry for any future devised performances
Led by multi award-winning performer and National Theatre (War Horse) puppeteer, Alex Moran
