Exeter Northcott Theatre:
Haunted Seats & Eerie Apparitions

Whispers of an otherworldly presence have long echoed in the wings of Exeter Northcott Theatre. The most perplexing of these stories surrounds a seat, one with an enigmatic aura - Row E, Seat 13. Local lore claims that whenever an audience member settles into this seat, an inexplicable series of mishaps unfold during the performance. From flickering lights to sudden stage malfunctions, the ghostly occupant seems to have an uncanny way of making its presence felt!

If that wasn’t enough to convince you, wait until you hear about the two brave souls from the Front of House team who experienced a hair-raising encounter! After a late bar shift, they were waiting for a taxi outside the stage door when the quiet was shattered by a resounding bang on the door. When they went to investigate, a spectral figure of a woman materialised, walking out from the wardrobe department.
